Elvis Sighting!

Every Sunday I leave first service early to go lead singing at the nursing home. There is a precious woman who is unable to talk who lives there. Her mother has moved in to take care of her. They are faithful to come down every Sunday. This lady Loves Elvis. Our Sunday School Director helps lead the lesson. He found a 6 foot cardboard stand up of Elvis and brought it this morning! Oh she was so excited and tickled. Everyone was excited for her. We enjoyed having Elvis this morning. When we sang her favorite Hymn - What a Friend We Have in Jesus - she made her joyful noises loud and clear. Part of me thinks I encountered a little of what heaven will be like - the unashamed joyful praises to the king.
