New Hiding Place

We have a craft/ sewing room. It's been fun to have sp sew, while I scrap. Kitty also likes her hiding spot, until Honey discovered her. Poor Kitty. Nothing is high enough.

Poor Big Adopted Brother

The girls have been blessed with several "older adopted brothers." They add to our family. They also pay their dues.

Layed Back Summer Fun!

The girls have been swimming a couple of times already this week with different friends. We've been running and walking. They've been to open gym. We've had kids hanging out at our house. We've had dr. appts. and cheerleading practice. Mom and Dad came through town and we had dinner. It's just Tues. Whew!!!!

Home From Preteen Camp

My sweeties are home and our family is complete again. Nothing like a nap with a live snuggly animal.

we had a great time tonight at the parade. k is on jr. high cheerleader float. sh rode on the float promoting our new weekday educational program at church. sp is at preteen camp with big K. They come home tomorrow. some floats were very creative to say the least. Enjoy.

Our Carnival

Along with the pageant, there is a carnival all week at our city park. I've told some friends sometimes I am reminded of the movie HOPE FLOATS when I experience the time. I'll share the pics from the parade soon.

Pageant Fun

K decided to be in our town's pageant. The theme was "tea party."
The first pic was at practice with our sweet friend Shy. The next pic was her

outfit for the interview tea. She had lots of help from sweet ladies in our church. One of our favorite stores sponsored her! She was second runner up.

Fourth of July Fun

We had a great time at our godfamily's for the fourth. Our friends came as well. It was crazy and exciting. We had rain of course. We also had 2 trucks stuck in the mud. We got one loose, and on pulling the second one, the suv got stuck. We had to use the first truck that was stuck to pull out the rescuing truck. The second truck just gets to stay until dries out. smile. One of the kids accidentally threw their shorts on a candle in the bathroom and left. A grown up came up just in time to see flames. Finally the Lord was gracious to hold off rain so we could have fireworks. With lots of good food, swimming, playing games, we had a great time. I forgot to take pictures of the homemade icecream, red velvet cake, chocolate pie, key lime pie, and cookies. You would be proud. I'm day three into my diet and didn't taste any. Thank you God for strength.
