One of the Perks of Moving

Lots and I mean lots is going on with our immediate family. My mom needs surgery,my sister's due date is moved up, and Dad is having all these tests ran on his heart, so Kelly and I are trying to handle one of his sibilings whom I love so much. Anyway we had to move some of her stuff the other day. Who knew a scooter could be so much fun!

Tiger Spirit

One week everyone was to dress camo and the next week was chef week in order to CREAM the other team. We couldn't find a chef's hat so Sh stuck a whisk in her hair. Pretty creative!
Nanny and Poppy came to watch K cheer. Fun Time!

Sweet Friends

Precious friends of ours from a former church had one of their daughters get married this past weekend. K was honored to officiate their wedding. He performed it on 3 hours of sleep after staying up all night with our homecoming lockin. He had over 160 students show up to be carted to the movies and skating. What a fun time!

Our Cheerleader

Homecoming Fun

Homecoming is fun in our town. We won tonight. Sp received her first mum from a boy, and we bought our first garter for a guy! K has had fun participating in her first pep rally and game! We've come along way from last year when we were brand new and the girls were still making friends. We are blessed!!! Oh, the couple is our sweet blessing from Tomball. Our families have become very close. She and I chatted during the whole game, instead of watching. OOOOps!

Getting Ready For The Dance

It was the first dance of the year. I couldn't resist taking pictures of them getting ready. I sat along with some other parents in the school office and peered out the door for two hours to watch. The kids didn't know we were spying on them. All the lights were off but a couple, and you had to pick your child out by the glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets they had. What Fun!

Science Experiment Gone Bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the second day of school and for my four eighth grade science classes we were doing an experiment with fire. We had the blow torch, gloves, goggles, cornstarch, the FIRE EXTINGUISHER and FIRE BLANKET! down to the cafeteria. I had been nervous the night before. This experiment is new to me. We couldn't do it in the class room because the ceilings are too low - its supposed to produce a 6 foot ball of flame. Well, the biggest I ever got was a two foot ball of fire. Still impressive. I was tired by the end of the day, and even though I blew somehow the cornstarch came back on me. I ended up paging the principal to help blow. When she came around the corner and saw me, she insisted we take pictures for the yearbook first. smile. The students were dying with laughter. All week long everyone has kept asking me what I was going to blow up today. Friday, I was in the office and the cafeteria lady came in, saw me, and asked "what are you going to blow up today?" Rumor is it might make the paper next week. Oh well! The kids loved it even though it didn't go like it was supposed to.
