Bball Has Begun!

The girls are doing great. K started and plays almost the entire game. Cross Country really built up her stamina! Sh made her first basket this past week. She also was smaked in the lip and started to bleed. She got off the ground and kept going. No tears!. We are so proud of both girls.

The girls did awesome in cross country this year. Sh's team made first in district. K was 2 away from medaling! We are so proud of our girls.

Dancing With the Stars~!

I grew up loving Marie Osmond. It has been so fun to watch her on Dancing with the Stars. My girls asked who she was. I replied that she was my Hannah Montanna. Earlier this year I bought a dvd with some episodes of their old tv show. My girls had fun staying up and watching them!

Elvis Sighting!

Every Sunday I leave first service early to go lead singing at the nursing home. There is a precious woman who is unable to talk who lives there. Her mother has moved in to take care of her. They are faithful to come down every Sunday. This lady Loves Elvis. Our Sunday School Director helps lead the lesson. He found a 6 foot cardboard stand up of Elvis and brought it this morning! Oh she was so excited and tickled. Everyone was excited for her. We enjoyed having Elvis this morning. When we sang her favorite Hymn - What a Friend We Have in Jesus - she made her joyful noises loud and clear. Part of me thinks I encountered a little of what heaven will be like - the unashamed joyful praises to the king.

Fall Festival

We had an awesome time. Our Sunday school had the flying donut booth. It was a great time. Before the carnival we took the girls downtown to collect some loot. Sp looked adorable and so did Honey Bun.
