We had 26 girls show up tonight for our Gamma Gamma Tau Kick Off.

Fantasy Football League

I walked in from our girls' thing into my husband's office and found all these men in serious mode. They were drafting for the league. I had to get my camera!!!

Barefoot in the Kitchen

Yesterday was the first day of school. Our friends came over for Taco Soup. My sweet husband and my friend's sweet husband washed dishes. I just had to take a picture!

Meet the Teacher

Last week we went to the elem. to meet Sp new 5th grade teachers. We are now done with our second day of school and doing well.

Blessed Friend

We had a mtg and an ortho appt Monday eve and Tues afternoon. We stayed with a precious friend Monday night. Though I'm physically tired; I so enjoyed chatting until 2:45 a.m. in the morning. Thank you Lord that within a week I was able to have deep vulnerable talks with two precious friends that love me and put up with my weaknesses and ugliness of heart. I am blessed!

Vacation with Family

My precious parents treated my sister and her new husband, and my family to a couple of nights in Salado. We had such a fun relaxing time! EATING, shopping, playing in the creek, skipping rocks,swimming, and shuffleboard.

Precious Friends

We got to spend precious time with precious friends we haven't seen in awhile.

Sh bought some new high heels from Charlotte Rousse. She's modeling in the theater!

Mall Fun

We took youth to a mall in the big city today. We were able to meet up with one of my best friends and her sweet children. What a fun time we had! We have created a new generation of Austin fans! Yahoo!!!!

Special Weekend

We have a tradition of taking our girls at certain ages for a special weekend. When they turn 10 they go with me and we spend time together reading and discussing the Body Book and Beauty Book by nancy rue. When they turn 12 they go with their daddy, have the "talk" and buy their promise-true love waits ring at James Avery. We had girls that turned 10 and 12 within a month and a half of each other at the beginning of summer - busy time. K had bright idea that we take them together to a nearby town and kind of do them together. They were agreeable. Sp and I had precious time reading and discussing the books, and K and Sh had a good time talking separately from us. We all ate dinner together, went shopping, and swimming in the pool. (Loved the hotel - they had down pillows! - K is allergic. Small things can be such special treats!) We also found cool tshirts for the girls. I will post them at another time.

M - MUSIC - is so important to me. Nothing revives my soul like playing the piano and singing,
blaring music in my van and singing, and now being able to help lead in worship at church.

A - ALL my family. I am so blessed to be married to the man of my dreams and my sweet
precious girls who fill my life with joy. I am also blessed by my sweet sister, new bro-n-law,
my future niece, my sis-n-law and bro-n-law, my niece and nephews. I am supremely blessed
by my godly parents and precious in-laws.


R- READING - is so important to me as well. I love reading Christian fiction and Christian
books that help me in my walk with Christ.

I- IMAGINATION - I love to scrapbook and use my imagination to create pages. Stickers,
paper, ribbons, cutters, stamps, and pictures. My mind just reels with all the cool things I
can do.

E- EVERLASTING - Jesus is my best friend. The most important thing is that I will live
forever in Heaven with Him, because I asked him into my heart.
